Date Tue, 03 Dec 2002 13:25:57 +0100 From Einde O'Callaghan To MIA List Reply-To mia-list@marxists.org Subject [MIA] [Fwd: Marxists in the Face of Fascism] Parts 2 [no description] message/rfc822 3.07 KB Message Source I have received permission to use a number of articles by people such as Kautsky, Thalheimer, Hilferding, Nin, seydewith, Otto Bauer and others. They may not be complete, but often they are among the few things available in English from these authors. Einde Dear Einde O'Callaghan, Thanks for your e-mail. I have no objection to your making material from 'Marxists in Face of Fascism' available on your web-site. Some provisos: 1. Not all the extracts were translated by myself, and this permission obviously does not apply to the exceptions listed on the page immediately before the contents page of the book. 2. The extracts I translated are rarely the complete text of the original, and the omissions are indicated with the usual ..... In each case, however, I tried to make the extracts as faithful to the original text as possible. 3. Reference to the book as source and myself as translator would be appropriate. Although the book is now out of print, your readers could well be interested in the collection as a whole and my introduction in particular. 4. I don't have an electronic copy of any of the material - it was compiled before the days of pcs - so it will need to be typed up afresh. With these comments, you can take this e-mail to represent formal permission to reproduce the translations in the manner which you have described.
